The unexpected house stands between low hills and seems to grow out of the earth like a "mushroom", looking at the sea and the sky. Surely you understand at first sight that the house does not look like you are used to see until today.
It is not a classic two-story house, but an impressive creation of architecture that will captivate you. The paradox of this house is that the bedrooms are located downstairs to have direct contact with the ground and the common spaces upstairs.
To avoid the "classic" two-story building, a long, narrow slope was created in relation to the existing flat plot. In this way, the bedrooms become ground level, while the living room and the lounge have a sea view.
The decisive role of nature in the construction
The concept of nature played a crucial role in the design of the "House 6 °". The aim of the architecture firm was not to integrate with the surroundings but to create a contrast to highlight both the pristine landscape and the house itself.
The impressive house in Lagonisi dominates the landscape, but at the same time complements it, as the white volume harmonizes perfectly with the site, while offering the family privacy and protection from the strong winds that blow in the area.

The "House 6 °" hates exaggeration, avarice, impression and emphasizes the bond of the family, consequently with the bond of nature and the building.
