This paradise is most famous among boat owners who choose the area for diving. After all, it is not easy to approach the point in any other way. What makes it stand out are the beautiful turquoise waters and blue lakes, reminiscent of tropical countries, especially when viewed from above.

Cape Skylaio or Cavo Skyli or Celevinia is actually a cape of the Peloponnese, but administratively it belongs to Attica. It is located at the eastern end of the Argolic Peninsula and is the easternmost tip of the geographical region of the Peloponnese.

This particular place, which is of course not easily accessible, is covered to the north by the Saronic Gulf, to the east and south by the Aegean Sea (Argosaronikos region). East of the cape are two islands, Skyli(dog) and Spathi(sword), often referred to as "Celevinia". Cape Skyllaio together with Cape Sounio and the island Agios Georgios Lavreotikis mark the borders of Saronic Gulf.

According to one version, the name Skyllaio comes from Skylli, the daughter of the king of Megara Nisos, whose body washed up in the area. The name Celevinia is said to be of Arvanite origin and dates back to the 16th century when the Arvanites of the area tried to hide from the Turks who were persecuting them. The Arvanites used the expression "Celie-venie" (= beware of coming) as a warning when they spotted Turkish ships approaching the area.
