A few hours ago, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and German Chancellor Angela Merkel had a teleconference and, of course, the focus was on the Eastern Mediterranean and Greek-Turkish relations.
In fact, the communication between the two sides is of particular importance given the visit of NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg to Ankara yesterday and to Athens today.
As reported by skai.gr, Erdoğan expressed his dissatisfaction to the chancellor for the decisions taken by the European Union in the framework of the Summit, stressing that Europe is not ready to create an environment for dialogue with Turkey, while once again he turned against our country, noting that Europe and its interests cannot be held hostage by Greece and Cyprus.
Nevertheless, he seems ready to start a dialogue with Athens.
