An old couple donates 1000 Euro for each birth of a child in a village in Etoloakarnania
The local community of Kandila, in the Municipality of Xiromeros in Etoloakarnania, issued an announcement in which they thanked an elderly couple, Mr. and Mrs. Moutou, for the grant of 1000 euros for each couple who will have a child in Kandila.
In this way, the couple is trying to give financial support to the young people in Kandila who want to start a family in the village and also to help with the maintenance and development of their village.
”We are announcing to the residents of the Kandila local community that from now on, every child that is being born and whose father comes from Kandila and is a resident of Kandila will be receiving a grant of 1,000 euros from our members of Diaspora George and Zoe Moutos,” the local council said in its announcement.
“The President and the members of the Kandila Local Council warmly thank Mr. George and Mrs. Zoe Moutos for this kindness in our village,” the statement concluded.
