A rare video of images from Crete in 1910 has come to light. The... 108-year-old video was probably shot by the French at a time when Crete was not yet officially united with Greece and shows unique moving images from Chania, Heraklion and other inland areas both in everyday life and on holidays, such as Epiphany in front of the Venetian port of Koule.
It's an impressive historical account as it emerges from these unique images of Crete as brought to light by Mr. G. Papadosifos.
