An hour and a half from Leros lies a paradise that is called the Maldives of the Aegean. This is the Lipsi. The other name given to it is the little Italy of the Aegean, as the island is home to the so-called Italian quarter.

About 700 inhabitants give their soul to organize everything that happens on the island. They preserve the traditions and you become one with them and spend some of the best holidays of your life. Lipsi is the island where you will experience a summer holiday at a relaxed pace and not with the hustle and bustle of the cosmopolitan Aegean islands. The way of life on the island is unique and Italians love it. There you will walk in picturesque alleys and admire the architecture, you will swim in pristine beaches with crystal clear waters and you will taste delicious flavors that you have not found anywhere else.

Another thing that stands out in Lipsi are its beaches like Katsadia, Hochlakoura and probably the best Platis Gialos. There you will have the unique experience of swimming with ducks and geese. But they all have their own beauty that will enchant you.

The closest beaches in Chora of Lipsi are Lientou and Kampos, which attract the most people. Take a walk and find the one that suits you. In all of them, you will find crystal clear blue waters that will remind you of something from an exotic destination. Another surprise hidden in this corner of the Dodecanese unknown to many.

In Lipsi there is one and the only organized settlement on the island. There, the so-called Italian quarter has emerged, where Italians have bought traditional houses overlooking the Aegean Sea, renovated them and became part of the place. It is no coincidence that Italians generally love the island.
