Marble or Saliara beach is really different from all the others. Its beauty and color of the water can not be described with words. You can reach it by turning right at the entry to Makryammos beach. Dusty road approximately 4km long leads to Saliara beach. It's semi-organized, with fast food cafeteria and deck chairs.
The entire coast is covered with fine white marble stones. The coast is so white that you have the impression that you're on the snow. The sun rays bounce off the ground and blind you so it's good to wear sunglasses. A real pleasure arises when you enter the water. Its color is surreal, like you're on a most exotic beach. As long as you're in the water you will not stop to admire the color and clarity. The feeling is really indescribable!
When you go to the beach on this dirt road and when it becomes lengthy, given that you have to drive slowly, I'm sure you'll think: "Is it worth it?", but when you got to the beach I'm confident that you will think: "Yes, it was worth it!"
