The final rehearsal for the lighting ceremony of the Olympic flame. During the rehearsal, a dozen young women in long, pleated robes danced to the rhythm of a drum and the sound of a flute, in accordance with ancient Greek tradition.The flame was then carried to the ancient stadium amid the warm applause of hundreds of onlookers.The rehearsal concluded with the high priestess, played by Greek actress Katerina Lehou, handing the flame and an olive branch to the first torchbearer.

The final rehearsal for the lighting ceremony of the Olympic flame, which will be burning at the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics, was held on Wednesday in ancient Olympia in southern Greece, the original birthplace of the Games.
