Agalianos: the village that seems to have sprung from the pages of a fairy tale
One of the most beautiful corners of the municipality of Agrinio, located on the border of the prefectures of Etoloakarnania and Evritania, in the western part of Mount Helidona and on the southwestern shore of the artificial lake of Kremasta.
The reason for the tiny and unknown to the general public village of Agalianos, at an altitude of 423 meters above sea level. The beautiful village stands out as a rural semi-mountainous settlement and is famous for the wonderful and unobstructed view of the largest artificial lake in Greece, Lake Kremasta, an area of great natural beauty.
One of the most important points of the village is its unique church dedicated to Virgin Mary, probably built-in 1864. Among its most impressive sights is the place called "Sykies", with abundant running water.
Only 2 km from the village are the Straika Trikerioti of the artificial lake Kremasta, which is an ideal place for rafting. As you will see in the footage of the great video on YouTube, the place is really beautiful.
