A fire has broken out on the island of Ikaria, burning through low vegetation in the Kamari area of the Fournoi Korseon municipality. Volunteers are currently battling the blaze with four vehicles, while eight firefighters from the 14th Special Disaster Response Unit (EMODE) are en route, supported by a helicopter.

Shortly after 2:00 PM, an alert was issued via the 112 emergency service: "If you are in the Kamari area, evacuate towards Fournoi."
