This is a cave where extensive research has been done by archaeologists and great finds have been made.

This point is located near Aliartos in Boeotia and although it is called a cave in the literature, it is actually a rocky roof with a shallow depth. The fact that traces of Homo Sapiens have been found in Seidi makes it a place of special interest.

Impressive flint stone carvings have been found in the lower layers of the rock roof, as well as traces of fire, mammal bones and teeth, shell remains and even food remains of its inhabitants. Some of them have even been dated to 30,000 years ago. It is certainly very impressive that finds have been made so close to Athens, where Homo Sapiens lived.

These excavations and the unveiling of this rock roof are considered to be of fundamental importance. With these researches and finds, Greece, which until then appeared without the representation of Palaeolithic sites, changed significantly.
