On the eastern side of Serifos, directly opposite the island Vοu, is one of the most beautiful beaches of the Aegean island, as well as one of the most popular destinations of all those seeking peace, tranquility and relaxation.

The beach of Agios Sostis is only a few kilometers away from the port of Serifos, distinguished both by its special color and by the church of the same name of Agios Sostis, which stands white on the rocks of the small peninsula in the middle of the large bay. And a strip of sand may actually divide the bay into two beaches, but the one on the left, called North Plakoto, suffers constantly from the strong winds that blow in the area, and so the beach on the right is the one that catches everyone's eye.

Moreover, this is considered the main beach of the bay, as it is the largest. The tamarisk trees that surround the beach generously offer their shade and the golden fine sand shimmers in the sunlight.

As for the beautiful crystal clear turquoise water, it is quite shallow at first, gradually increasing in depth, which is why it is preferred by many families with small children.

The natural landscape has remained unchanged on the beach of Agios Sostis, which is celebrated every year at the beginning of September with two days of festivities. As for the view to and from the beach, it is simply magical.
