The impressive shipwreck off the coast of northwestern Crete

The shipwreck "Dimitrios P." It has been rusting in the dreamy turquoise waters of Gramvousa on the coast of northwestern Crete since 1968 and is a characteristic element of the tiny island, which is a point of attraction for spearfishermen as it is an interesting fishing spot.

The ship left the port of Chalkida in December 1967 on its way to North Africa with a cargo of 440 tons of cement. Unfavorable weather conditions forced it to moor in the bay of Diakofti in Kythira until 6 January 1968.
