In the shallows of Kalymnios beach in southern Greece, a small part of the ancient city Epidaurus has emerged from the water. The remnants are accessible either by boat or swimming. The Ephorate of Underwater Antiquities, a special department of the Greek Ministry of Culture that is responsible for the preservation of ancient underwater relics, has begun the topographic mapping of the area.
