The Beauty Of Milos Island, Kleftiko

Kleftiko is a beautiful area with spectacular scenery and most famous natural attraction of Milos. Located on the southwest side of the island, there are massive volumes of white rocks, which stand in the middle of the sea and create an other-worldly landscape. The rocks have a semicircular shape and form a small lake a short distance from the beach. Of particular interest are the caves that were created. The Kleftiko (theif) name comes from the fact that pirate ships used to hide among the rocks. Indeed, in the rocks are preserved some of the carved bollards the ships used to tie up to. Access to Kleftiko is by tour boats which go all around the island and start at Adamantas.
